Holiday Market Tote Bags and Ornaments

Dear Families,
ICSAtlanta is excited to announce our first holiday ornaments designed by students! The English team has also designed an exclusive tote bag for all shopping needs. Ornaments and tote bags make great gifts for all your family and friends while supporting ICSAtlanta!
 Pre-orders on ornaments are available on our school store until THIS Friday, Nov 22 at 1pm.
Additional ornaments and tote bags will be available for purchase at the Holiday Market on December 13 from 6-8pm. More details and RSVP here:

Wax Museum

The wax museum is coming up! It will take place on Tuesday, December 17. Please join us at the appropriate times to see your child’s little skit (no siblings allowed). Please also remember to prepare a costume ahead of time according to the character your child chooses. It does not have to be store-bought, you can also improvise at home. The characters they are able to choose are Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, Sacagawea, Theodore Roosevelt, George Washington Carver, and Ruby Bridges.

Season of Giving

On November 18th-22nd, our school will collect food to benefit the North Fulton Community Charities Food Bank. Both campuses will be collecting items throughout the week!  Participate each day by bringing an item from the themes below: 

  • The food bank is DRY! Let’s fill it! – Dry food items – beans, stuffing, pasta, NO MAC & CHEESE OR RAMEN

  • Keep it Rolling! – Toiletries & household products, diapers size 4, 5, 6 and pullups only. (toothpaste, soap, shampoo & conditioner, cleaners, sponges)

  • Yes you can! – Canned goods and jars (peanut butter, chili, stew, spaghettios, ravioli, ONLY THE FOLLOWING VEGETABLES: potatoes, spinach, collards, Beets, Carrots, Mixed veggie pea/carrot combo, Sweet –potatoes/yams) NO GLASS, NO GREEN BEANS OR CORN

  • Be sweet, donate! – Desserts (cake, cookie, and brownie mixes)

  • Orange Juice glad to give? – Juice Boxes (Capri Sun, Juicy Juice)

Dear Parents,

Please clean and return any clothing borrowed from the clinic.
The lower campus clinic is in need of regular fit, Navy or Khaki uniform pants, in sizes ranging from 6 to 14. It would be much appreciated.

Martinstag

Dear parents,
Just a quick reminder about our Martinstag event. If you have not yet signed up to help out, please consider volunteering for a 30-minute time slot. We still need some helpers from 5:30-8:00 PM.
Our Martinstag celebration is this Saturday!! 
Please come and join us for our 5th annual Martinstag event on November 9, 2019, from 4:30-7:00 pm. 
Lanterns, food and drink items will be available for purchase; cash preferred. Credit card purchases only for $25 or more.
 
Student performances will be from 5:00 to 5:15 PM, starting with Kindergarten and ending with grades 6-8 performing their song. 
German Track parents, please look at the attached map to see drop-off and pick-up locations for participating students. Please drop off students at 4:50 PM.
The Lantern parade will begin at 6:15 PM. 

In conjunction with the Martinstag event, we are also collecting coats again at both campuses.  
Coat Drive Dates: October 28 – November 8, 2019 (at school) and on Saturday, November 9 (at the event).    

What to donate: Coats (any size), hats, and scarves. Items will be donated to the Atlanta Children’s Shelter and The Place of Forsyth.
